Customer Sends and Unread Mail in One Daily Digest

The EuroMail operator digest combines unread mail, delivery problems and sends per customer, with sub-account breakdowns and a separate line for platform mail.

A support question should still be visible tomorrow if nobody has read it. A delivery problem should be easy to spot before you reach the day's totals.

The combined EuroMail operator digest starts with what needs attention: unread mail, the oldest waiting message, failed or bounced messages, complaints and paused sending IPs. It also shows mail still queued or processing, so you can check its progress. A queue count on its own does not mean something is broken.

A local preview with sample messages and figures.

Recent inbound messages follow, with the sender, subject and a short excerpt. Older unread mail remains in the opening reminder until it is marked read. Opening the digest does not clear that reminder.

The sending summary also shows activity per customer: sends, delivered, bounced and failed messages, with queued and rejected mail listed separately. Sub-accounts appear beneath their customer, and customer totals include them. Platform mail has its own line. This makes it easier to see which products are sending and where a problem belongs.

IP warmup information and new accounts are in the same email. Monday's acquisition and feedback review stays there too.

The report states the period its figures cover. If a run is delayed, the next report covers the time since the previous one, including new inbound mail from that period. It does not quietly discard yesterday's messages. Unknown figures stay unknown, and a day with no completed sends has no delivery percentage to judge.

As elsewhere in EuroMail, delivered means the receiving server accepted the message. It is not a claim that it reached the inbox.

This report is for the person operating EuroMail. Installations that send the status report and inbox digest to the same address get the combined email; separate recipients keep their existing reports. Read the operator digest guide for its contents and timing.

A card check, only when an account looks risky

euromail now asks for a card check when an account shows the signs of spam: a burst of mail from a brand-new account, a domain registered last week, or bounces and complaints. Everyone else never sees it, and nothing is charged.
